At last week’s East Vincent Township Planning Commission meeting, I urged the commission to recommend that the Board of Supervisors require full residential health standard remediation under Pennsylvania’s Act 2 program — not the weaker industrial standard. Given the Pennhurst property’s proximity to the Southeastern Veterans’ Center, a daycare, and nearby homes, allowing cleanup to industrial standards would put vulnerable neighbors at unnecessary risk — on top of the numerous health and safety
