North Texas is heading into Mother's Day weekend with a mix of sunshine and clouds. Saturday is forecast to start off mostly cloudy before gradually clearing up, according to the National Weather Service's Fort Worth office. Temperatures during the day are expected to top out near 87 degrees before dropping to 68 degrees at night.
The tornado watch was issued for several North Texas counties, including Dallas, Collin, Tarrant and Parker late Saturday.
